Bonnie was raised in Eastern Oregon and spent most of her adult life on an isolated ranch there. During that time, she wrote for a number of national magazines on topics related to small farms.
She moved to Arizona and worked for the Payson School District until retirement gave her time to write. Books in print include: Bumblefoot, (a middle grade murder mystery), and children’s books: Christmas Alligator and Raccoon Rainbow. Christmas Alligator and Raccoon Rainbow are fantasies written for and about her handicapped children. Mountain Roses, a historical fiction based on a hanging in Oregon is nearing completion.
